Vector cartoon of Pedobear in Japan with Sumo wrestler. Beware: Pedobear is not just an internet phenomenon, he also shows up in the real world. Pedo-Bear is a dirty fighter, fast and mean so run while you can; he takes no prisoners. Disclaimer: no rikishi was harmed during the making of this vector.
About a 100 years ago (1910, October to be precise, Doc!) an artist in San Francisco sat down and attempted to draw a Japanese Geisha. It was a wonderful attempt and I preserve it here, synthesized for the future. I added the colors and other things, just to add some life to the image.
The Russo-Japanese War was from 1904 to 1905. According to wikipedia, the fledgling Japanese military consistently attained victory over the Russian forces arrayed against them, which was unexpected by world observers. I extracted and colored this image from a picture illustrating a story written by Adachi Kinnosuke in The Washington Times, April 24, 1904. Without a question, this image is in the public domain.
These are some free vector ornaments for people to use in their projects. I hope people like them, they were fun to make. My site has been going through some changes, I hope readers and contributors dig the new theme.
A woman gets a massage. The message is this woman got a massage. This was quite a quick little sketch some staff artist in Los Angeles scratched out real quick for page 40, way back in 1907. I wonder how many people actually noticed the image then? Will it have more views in it's reincarnation?
OK, at least these lovebirds know to get their loving on inside of a building. A lot less cold than trying to love and embrace someone in the cold outdoors. Good on them!
Nothing says "Tokyo" more than the Yamanote line. It cuts through the heart of downtown, carrying millions of passengers a day. I didn't see any clipart on here, and so I cooked up something myself. I'm not the best artist, but I hope this helps someone who needs clipart of a Japanese train. Hey maybe for a presentation about Japan for your class? Or maybe for your Train Lovers Group that meets on every Monday to eat meat and talk about trains? No? What?
