A happy blue whale, drawn in a style reminiscent of children bedtime story books. The ocean fades into white in a circular, pattern. Someone can add binocular effects to give the impression someone is looking at the whale from a distance.
In 1904 The Washington Times wondered that if their current theories were true the earth dweller who got a glimpse of the weird and wonderful Martian populace would stand aghast at a motley collection more grotesque than any monster that ever paraded through dreamland. Yup, they wondered that. Too bad we haven't even found bacteria based life on mars yet. But maybe these guys are hiding somewhere!
