I don't remember all the details about this (the description disappeared!) but I do remember that this was a woman who disguised herself as a man in order to fight in the civil war.
"I shot the turkey but I did not shoot the deputy!" this guy is handing a murdered bird over to a couple in order to help the celebrate the american Thanksgiving holiday. I suppose this is back in the day when you would take a fresh one home and then pluck it yourself.

Fight! Fight! This super skinny lady and this quite fat man are fighting about something to the candid amusement of the onlookers. What are they fighting about? I like to imagine she told him it would be a wild party and he got there and it was boring and he lost his temper.
Not quite sure what this couple is doing loving it up outside in *FALL* but I suppose that's better than winter. But come on people, go inside when the weather is cold, sheesh! But I suppose in 1803 this was the cool thing that cool kids were doing, so I shouldn't complain.
This man is nervous. He is sweating a lot. I don't know if he is nervous about the bulldog behind him, or if he is just nervous about the date he is going to next?
This was originally world war I propaganda. Titled something like "Heroes in Brass Buttons Get The Kisses of The Misses" or something like that. Some scandalous early 20th century kissing for all of you. Might even work for valentines day or what not.
I usually avoid using English in images if I can help it, but this stylized text screaming "KISS" just seemed to fit. (I left them as separate objects to make it easy to remove the text if you don't want it.) This is actually two different sources combined together. The first was an advertisement, and the other was a news piece talking about how public kissing was outlawed in new jersey america (in 1915!) which was funny. ITs: been synthesized together for future enjoyment-- just in time for valentines day!
