Louis-Victor Pierre Raymond de Broglie, 7. duc de Broglie, (August 15, 1892 - March 19, 1987) was a French physicist and a Nobel laureate in the year 1929 who created a new field in physics, the wave mechanics. In his later career, de Broglie worked to develop a causal explanation of wave mechanics, in opposition to the wholly probabilistic models which dominate quantum mechanical theory. Wolfgang Ernst Pauli (25 April 1900 - 15 December 1958) was an Austrian theoretical physicist and one of the pioneers of quantum physics. Pauli was instrumental in the development of the modern theory of quantum mechanics. In particular, he formulated the exclusion principle and the theory of nonrelativistic spin.
In 1945 he received the Nobel Prize in Physics. The svg-file based on photo from wikicommon. Author is Bettina Katzenstein. For more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Pauli

Auszug aus Wikipedia: Werner Heisenberg (5 December 1901 - 1 February 1976) was a German physicist who made foundational contributions
to quantum mechanics and is best known for asserting the uncertainty principle (Heisenbergsche Unschärferelation), of quantum theory. Heisenberg was awarded the 1932 Nobel Prize in Physics for the creation of quantum mechanics, and its application
especially to the discovery of the allotropic forms of hydrogen. In 1957, Heisenberg was a signatory of the manifesto of the Göttinger Achtzehn (Göttingen Eighteen). Clip based on public domain photo from Wikipedia.
Max Born (11.12.1882 - 5.01.1970) was a German physicist and mathematician who was instrumental in the development of quantum mechanics. He also made contributions to solid-state physics and optics.
