Louis-Victor Pierre Raymond de Broglie, 7. duc de Broglie, (August 15, 1892 - March 19, 1987) was a French physicist and a Nobel laureate in the year 1929 who created a new field in physics, the wave mechanics. In his later career, de Broglie worked to develop a causal explanation of wave mechanics, in opposition to the wholly probabilistic models which dominate quantum mechanical theory. Wolfgang Ernst Pauli (25 April 1900 - 15 December 1958) was an Austrian theoretical physicist and one of the pioneers of quantum physics. Pauli was instrumental in the development of the modern theory of quantum mechanics. In particular, he formulated the exclusion principle and the theory of nonrelativistic spin.
In 1945 he received the Nobel Prize in Physics. The svg-file based on photo from wikicommon. Author is Bettina Katzenstein. For more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Pauli

Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger (12 August 1887 - 4 January 1961) was an austrian physicist who was one of the fathers of quantum mechanics.
He is famed for a number of important contributions to physics, especially the Schrödinger equation. In 1933 he received the Nobel Prize in Physics. The svg-file based on a photo from wikicommon (ca. 1933).

Paul Adrien Maurice Dirac (8 August 1902 – 20 October 1984) was an English theoretical physicist who made fundamental contributions to the early development of both quantum mechanics and quantum electrodynamics.
Dirac shared the Nobel Prize in Physics for 1933 with Erwin Schrödinger, "for the discovery of new productive forms of atomic theory." The svg-file based on a photo from wikicommon (1929). Autor is Friedrich Hund or Gerhard Hund.
